HP12 Base Coat is used as a preparation coat for K Rend top coat finishes. HP12 Base Coat can be hand or machine applied. It uses ‘High Polymer’ technology for an enhanced performance on difficult substrates such as dense block, unpainted render and brickwork (providing K Rend R7 Primer is used in conjunction with this). It is ideal as a stipple coat or for dense backgrounds and has increased water resistance and adhesion.

Incorporation of Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh may be required at stress points such as door and window reveals. HP12 Base Coat can be used in conjunction with all K Rend finishes including Scraped Texture, Thin Coat, Dash, Roughcast and Brick Rend.

HP14 Base Coat is a preparation coat for K Rend top coat finishes. HP14 Base Coat can be hand or machine applied. It uses “High Polymer” technology for an enhanced performance onto a wide variety of insulating substrates such as enhanced polystyrene, phenolic and mineral wool. It is designed as the ideal background for thin coat organic resin render such as Silicone TC. Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh should be used in conjunction with HP14 Base Coat at stress points such as door and window reveals.

HPX Base Coat can be used as a preparation coat for K Rend finishes. HPX Base Coat can be hand or machine applied. It is an ultra high performance render incorporating high polymer technology and fibres. It can be used on unusual substrates requiring greater flexibility and adhesion such as lightweight block or high suction brick, often incorporating an Alkali Resistant Reinforcing Mesh at stress points such as door and window reveals. HPX Base can be used in conjunction with most K Rend finishes including Dash, Scraped Texture and Brick Rend.

K Rend Silicone TC 15 is an organic resin, low maintenance render with a textured finish. Silicone TC 15 is a self-coloured render and can be hand or spray applied. It is a ready to use organic resin render which is applied to provide a low maintenance textured finish. It is also available in different textures (TC 05, TC 10 & TC 30) and a wide variety of colours. Prior to application the substrate should be primed using Primer TC.

Primer TC is a ready to use primer which is quick and easy to apply by brush, roller or spray. It is available in a wide range of colours which are co-ordinated to the colour of Silicone TC or Mineral TC topcoats.

Primer TC should be used after the application of K Rend Base Coat and before Silicone TC or Mineral TC. Before K Rend Thin Coats are applied, the backgrounds should be primed with K Rend Primer TC.
